Capistrano ASES Continues winning ways

The ASES program again had numerous staff recognized at the county level for the distinguished service and commitment to providing an enriching after-school program.

The 2019-2020 program will continue the Capistrano traditions and provide an outstanding program for students in grades 3-6. 

Time of operation: 2pm - 6pm 

Attendance Requirement: Students are required to attend the academic hour of the program (1st hour)

Late Pick-up: Students need to get picked up no later than 6pm. Three late pickups will result in student getting dismissed from ASES.

Absences: Three unexcused absences, tardies, or excessive excused absences will result in the student being dropped. 

Behavioral Policy

Students must go directly to ASES after school dismissal and follow the rules of both ASES and regular school day. Discipline issues can lead to being suspended or dismissed.

1st Reflection Form: Warning

2nd Reflection Form: 1 day suspension

3rd Reflection Form: 2 day suspension & meeting with coordinator

4th Reflection Form: Dismissal from program


2:00 - Check-in for 3rd graders only

2:25 - Check-in for 4th-6th graders

2:35 - Academic time

3:30 - Hands-On activities (Engineering, KidzMath, Health, KidzLit)

4:05 - Supper (full meal)

4:30 - Walkers sign-out and go home

- Enrichment activities (sports, Visual Performing Arts, Lego Robotics ) 

5:25 - Various activities (puzzles, board games)
